Abstract:The present study investigated engaged classroom interaction by examining undergraduate (n = 134) and graduate (n = 75) students' perceptions of participation and silence. Results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated significant relationships among the six variables investigated. Specifically, grade level and learning link significantly predicted engagement style after accounting for ethics and rights, biological sex, and participation grades.
