Abstract:This study examines effects of involvement with a Nepali children's entertainment-education television program, Khushi Ko Sansar (Happy World), on children's beliefs and intended behavior toward other children with disabilities. Pre-test and post-test survey data from 357 Nepali children from seven communities in the country were analyzed. Results show children role modeled the prosocial beliefs of the program's star character. Implications of using entertainment-education to improve treatment of the disabled are discussed
